I have a 2019 Toyota Highlander that has developed the dreaded transmission whining noise. My head is spinning with what options I'm faced with: transmission repair/replacement, or just trade the car in. I stopped by Dr Steve's after work and the store manager and desk person spent a good 20 minutes answering my many questions. It was closing time, but they had no worries listening to and answering all my questions. While they have not done any service for me, I had a good vibe of the place in a short amount of time that I was there.

I own a 2018 F-150 that is notorious for torque converter and transmission issues. I spoke to them and they quoted me worst case scenario to replace the transmission was around 8k. I dropped my truck off and they could've very easily just done the job and charged me 8k but they drove it and diagnosed it and it ended up being an engine misfire that cost me under $300 to fix myself. That kind of integrity is rare these days. I would 1000% recommend this shop.
